Pulsations – Global Live Streaming Event at Hugh’s Room on Friday, June 21, 2024 Daytime On the same day, Hugh’s Room will be the Canadian venue for an incredible global live-streaming music relay featuring amazing artists performing in 24 different countries. The music will be passed from country to country every ten minutes by a heartbeat rhythm. Hugh’s Room will be featuring a wonderful award-winning duo – Twin Flames – who will start their show on the Hugh’s Room stage at 11 a.m. Ten minutes of their show around noon will be streamed to the world. This is a free event celebrating Make Music Day. TranzitionzJazz will be performing at Hugh’s Room, 296 Broadview Avenue, Toronto on Friday, June 21 at 8:00 p.m. as special guests at the Tyler Ellis concert. TranzitionJazz’s leader is Jim Thomas who worked closely with Tyler’s dad, Ron Ellis, who recently passed away. The show will be in memory of Ron. Sharing Dance Parkinson's Benefit Concert

Betty Oliphant Theatre, 404 Jarvis Street, Toronto

TranzitionzJazz is joining forces with Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) to perform an unforgettable jazz benefit concert in the Betty Oliphant Theatre. This collaborative performance features two dances from the Sharing Dance Parkinson’s program with a backdrop of live jazz. Proceeds from the event will support the Sharing Dance Parkinson’s program at NBS, which provides high-quality dance activities for people living with Parkinson’s and their families.

An exciting and totally entertaining evening of great vocal jazz performed by The Jazz Project singers led by accomplished Musical Director Mim Adams, and featuring TranzitionzJazz - a jazz band that is making its mark on the Toronto jazz scene. From Paul Simon to Henry Mancini to Lambert, Hendricks and Ross and everything in between.

Tickets are $25. Student Tickets $15. Student tickets are available directly from Jazz Project members or on concert night at the door.

Sharing Dance
